Players for both the Loyola boys and girls basketball teams, along with boys head coach Tom Livatino and girls head coach Jeremy Schoenecker, helped out at the Hustle & Hearts clinic Monday at Golf View Recreation Center in Niles.

In its ninth year, the event benefits the Danny Did Foundation. Danny Stanton died at 4 years old as a result of a seizure. His parents, Mariann and Mike Stanton, created the organization in 2010, and its mission is to advance public awareness for Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), enhance communication between medical professionals and families affected by seizures and allocate seizure detection and prediction devices that may assist in preventing deaths to those in need.

Benet Academy, Notre Dame, DePaul Prep, Regina Dominican, Taft and Truman College also participated in the clinic.
