In Milwaukee, Phillips ran a personal-best 51.85 seconds in the 400 and clocked a 2:03.58 in the 800.

“I was happy with my times, and everybody looks to be on the upswing,” Phillips said. “The weather has been tough this year. Once it gets nicer outside, who knows how low we can go.”

Third-place finishers included: senior Jack McCall (long jump, 19-9 3/4), senior Conner Mocny (1000, 2:42.54), junior Eli Miller (1600, 4:37.33) and sophomore Greyson Schneider (300 intermediate hurdles, 43.78).
