None of the five players with Loyola connections made the cut Wednesday at the 101st Western Junior at Evanston Golf Club in Skokie.

Loyola senior Ryan Savarie was the low Rambler, shooting 75-75 to finish 10 over to miss the cut by eight strokes. His brother, Chip Savarie, a 2018 graduate and an incoming freshman golfer at Wisconsin, posted 14 over. Reb Banas, a 2017 grad and sophomore player at Villanova, Connor Prassas, a 2017 grad and sophomore player at Michigan, and Loyola senior Peter Radler all finished 15 over.

Jeff Doty, of Carmel, Indiana, and a sophomore golfer at North Florida, tops the leaderboard at 7 under. The tournament concludes Thursday with 36 holes.
