Senior Madison Kane scored the first goal Wednesday, and Loyola never looked back in a 14-5 win over Denver East that opened the Ramblers’ Rocky Mountain trip.

Kane finished with a team-best four goals and one assist, while senior Brennan Dwyer and senior Colleen Huffman each scored two goals apiece.

The Ramblers (10-2) went into the half ahead 7-2 and built a 14-3 lead before the Angels added two goals. Denver East entered the game with an 8-1 record.

Loyola plays one of Colorado’s best teams Thursday when it meets Colorado Academy (7-1) at 6:15 p.m. CST. The Mustangs are the defending state champions.
