Alec Brownlee plays the role of superstar. That is, each week the 5-foot-7, 150-pound junior receiver spends practices as the opponent’s most athletic offensive skill player. Loyola head coach John Holecek said players on the scout team like Brownlee are invaluable to the team’s game planning.
“He helps us with teams who have special players, great athletes,” Holecek said. “He can do anything from receiver to running back. That’s important in our preparation.”
